The Apostle Paul in Ephesians offers us a powerful manner of praying, especially for our loved ones, our families, our friends and even those not of faith.
- May be filled with the knowledge of God's will what a wonderful gesture of prayer to ask God to make clear for family members, loved ones or friends, the precise decisions He wishes them to make in every circumstance based on His Will.
- May walk in a manner worthy of the Lord This means asking that someone's life will have weight - will count eternally and not temporally. Amen. Perhaps the most important part of life's walk: worthiness to our Lord and God!
- May bear fruit in every good work We should pray for all to remain so Christ-centered that He through them determines their conversation, conduct and character.
- May increase in the knowledge of God Can there be a more precious rquest than that of wanting someone to grow every closer to our heavenly Father!
- May be streengthened and sustained with the power of God Within an evil world system, we need the supernatural power of God to help us, to guide, to protect us, to bless us and to empower us.
- May give thanks that we already have qualified as saints of the God Most High There is perhaps nothing for which we should be more appreciative and to which we should pray in thanksgiving, indeed that God loved us before we loved Him!
